From the NWS Flagstaff:
“Areas of sleet and snow pellets are falling between the two red lines, basically over the Flagstaff area. Areas west of this location are seeing snow, with falling snow levels. Areas east of these lines are still seeing rain showers, ahead of the cold front. Road surfaces from Flagstaff westward will become hazardous and snow covered this afternoon.”
“Unsettled weather is forecast for northern Arizona as a low pressure system passes through the region today. Showers increasing across northern AZ today. Light rain and snow amounts. Snowfall from trace to 2 inches forecast 5,000-8,000 feet. WEDNESDAY: Dry weather returns to the area as the low pressure system moves off to the east.”
