“URGENT – WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FLAGSTAFF AZ
302 PM MST MON JAN 4 2016

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN FLAGSTAFF HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY…WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM TUESDAY TO NOON MST WEDNESDAY.

* TIMING…MORE PERSISTENT SNOW WILL DEVELOP LATE TUESDAY
AFTERNOON ACROSS WESTERN ARIZONA…SPREADING EAST TUESDAY NIGHT.  THE PERIOD OF HEAVIEST SNOW IS EXPECTED FROM MIDNIGHT TUESDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING.

* GENERAL EVENT TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS…3 TO 8 INCHES WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS. SEE DETAILS BELOW OR CONSULT POINT SPECIFIC FORECAST AT: WEATHER.GOV/FLAGSTAFF.
